the idea and the colors r good but its more like photoshop to me.and i have noticed that all ur changes have been made in photoshop and not in 3d applications.i believe ur very gd in post-production but u need more work in 3d.continue the gd work!!

I m glead that you don't think thats is 3D but it is ,rendered in 5 layers and compose with after effects.The only thing is painted are the clouds.Usualy to have better results you need to render with multiple layers.Composition is esential to make a good picture.All good 3D enviroment is compose with multiple layers.I will post the layers process.

smiljan666,the important thing in a composition is the feling an the atmosphere that capture the city after the nuclear disaster.Iff I want to make more realistic for me is not so complicate.To make a realy good atmosphere That is very hard to do.When you make a 3D scene thas n mean that you render only in 3D.All the 3D scenes are rendered in layers and compose after.

mAri*,only clouds layer is made in photoshop,the rest is 3D.
Anyway thats I post the layer process.

Inspiring final image. The composition layers image is great. It helps a lot to learn how to put your image together. By the way, the best bit by far is the twisted second bridge . The atmosphere and lighting is beautiful ( in a post industrial accident kind of way )

Can you share any more information about how you used the various passes to composite and achieve your look?

After the challenge will finish I wil do an making of.Anyway to be realistic in the image is to boring.To come up with your atmosphere thats creation!
