| SkoleSlasken ![]() | 500-700 polygons?? does that mean you are not alowed to use less the n500 and not more then 700 ^^? this can be funn, organic is hard to achive inn lowpoly.

| SkoleSlasken ![]() | Hi here is my work. When i was modeling i desided me to make a Dinosaur for a strategy game. that way i asured me i would keep it low poly ;) i dint make spec, bump or normal maps on this one.....i bet i'm just to lasy to do so ^^ hehe anyways.

| XSI Animator | Minimus, nice model, but I have to say, I expexted somebody to make a Brontosaurus! And I didn't realize you spelled your signature wrong til you pointed it out. That was pretty funny. SO youre going to do another model? Cool curious what you will come out with this time. Hey Diablo and is it to much to ask if folks can post what software they used? I like knowing this because I find it interesting how the images come out differently when people use different packages. Just asking, it don't have to happen since I believe its not in the rules anyway. Also, is this competition have to stay strictly to a low poly dino lifelike? Or can we mix it up a little like cartoony or abstract, etc.. as long as its a low poly dino? Thanks again people! |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | stegosaurus i've created a dino called stegosaurus. i had a lot of trouble with maping, its my first unwrap in max. too bad there weren't any polys left for the crest armour on the back. software : 3ds max 9 + vray texture done with photoshop

| SkoleSlasken ![]() | cool, good work. texturing is always hard. i think you could have saved some faces if you just have used a plane with 2 sided material on the tags on his back ;) the nyou could have used them to make the feets more round. but els really cool ;) btw i see your animation is on frame 100 :P hehe mine is often there to, i'm always hitting the 1 frame back button when i'm modeling ^^

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | yeah , i know its a kind of edgy dino , i could make it more smooth but i spend a lot of time with the texture. at least you have some competition you know :), you woldn't wanna be in this one alone would you :))
