Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Yeah, that's one way. I'm using max 9 so you can just press 7 and it will show the polycount. If you go to Customize/Viewport Configuration/Statistics you can change it to Total + Selection, so it will have the polys in your scene, as well as the polys of what you have selected displayed. In previous versions of max, polycounter was under tools I believe. |

The Submits will be a Rendering of your model, a wire screen shot showing the poly count, and your texture.Texture maps have a limit of 512X512 and bump maps are aloud but !! NO normal or specular maps.!!and finally no lights in scene just your object and it's map!!!Good Luck!! Any more Questions?? Heres A sample of what your entry should look like. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hi, I'm new to this 3D stuff but this looked like fun so I figured why not put something together? Here's a 1910 Farman biplane, using 747 polys There's no texture maps on this, I'm working my way through the tutorials and I haven't reached that chapter yet! But building this has been a good learning exercise. All the books and tutorials in the world are no substitute for sitting down and actually creating something. Gryshnak |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | The British Army (and probably French) used them before WW1. The Royal Navy even used a floatplane version. They also said it had "no military application" and that aeroplanes would never be of any use during a war... Gryshnak |
