Thought i'd try something new this month (i.e. upload some WIP) since its my holiday id get some more practice with my GFX tablet.

Heh i must admit, i have a soft spot for Jap girls and spotted this candid pic on Flicker blog. you can check it out here.

Ok, Finally got back to it and what u know my internet goes down, needed a new router. Arrrrr

but its cool right now.

so heres more wip. Ive allready finished it so youll be able to see it in the gallery.



I painted each piece seperately and on seperate layers. so ended with rond 16 layers in total.

I ended following the ref. picture more than my original concept.

honestly i was surprised with the result,
but chalk it up to practice i guess.

I like the model and arrangement very much.
The proportions look well done, only the colour of the lips and teeth look a bit strange.
