drawing pencil animation

I was wondering if anyone here can help me with a animation issue. its more of a 2d animation, but i dont mind if the solution come up in 3d.

issue: i have to animate an architectural floor plan from scratch. this means that the drawing occures in real time animation. for exemple : on sheet of paper apears a pencil wich starts drawing the floor plan, line by line, detail by detail. does anyone anyone know how to do this?

Yes, its possible to create this kind of animation.I use Rhinoceros Nurbs 3d and it has this feature where its possible to create the illusion of a pencil drawing a floorplan with full details.
