Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Ok..I haven't entered a competition in such a long time. I really need to have a cool project to do and this one looks like it. I had this idea for a long time, with a notebook sketch..so I dug it out. I changed a whole lot on this and decided to give it some color. Here is a quick paint I did tonight.... It is basically an underground world...where all rivers and streams run to. There will be a city on top of the main spire eventually. I just wanted to get a sunset mood underground feeling. With waterfalls in the background and stuff. I hope you like it. P.S. Can anyone see my image? The forum keeps on giving me an error when I try to view my attachment. Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Not sure how to make this work, but I'll try..Here are some of my new sketches: I've got an original sketch of the small home in the corner. I think this will be redesigned as it seems everything is leaning one way. The other sketch is a closeup of one of the rock towers...it shows a small city on top of it. The other is the original sketch layout of the cavern hope you like it |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Overhaul Well, I've been looking at my 3D scene for a few days and I didn't like it too much. I decided to go for an overhaul and here is what I came up with. I haven't added the back "wall, or cliffside yet as I wanted to integrate them better. My second pic has a little fog to show some depth for now. I basically want a view out from a cliff to a large expanse of land that trails off to the distance. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Next Update I added the background in and played with some fog settings to give it depth...added a couple of lights for mood...next up is the main focal points of the piece. I'll start on those tomorrow. For now, here is my update. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Glad you like it so far....I have a long way to go before I believe it is finished. I actually was trying out some different lighting placements. I'm going for effect right now, but I may change it to more of a mood thing. It depends on how the story unfolds to me. Right now, the history and everything surrounding this place is still developing. |
