Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Headed out with the wife and kids for a few hours, but should have the ZBrush detailing done up to level 4 this afternoon, hopefully at level 5 or maybe 6 tomorrow. Will post later today hopefully. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Here is Samson after a couple hours of ZBrush. Still at level 4 detail so a good bit to go still. Blocking in the muscle groups and anatomy. I will be working on the hands and feet a bit more before any detail or individualization of the model. Still symetrical. Should have him complety sculpted tomorrow if all goes well. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Some detail work on the head so far. He would be in very rough shape after being in captivity for 1-2 years and having his eyes burned out of his eye sockets ... litterally. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Thanks for the encouragement. A couple of notes on my progress: -I am using a very repititious alpha map in ZB for the skin detail even though I would not normally do this due to the risk of gaining a uniform pattern. I am not really worried about it on this particular model since he will be covered with hair on almost his entire body. I don't think this will be a major problem due to the hair coverage. -One reason that I am focusing on the characters first is that I like to tackle complicated issues up front so that I have more time to tweak the things that really make a difference like lighting and movement. Those are the things that really sell a scene. -Another reason is that I have to have some character poses for my web designer in a short period so the only way I can focus on this project is to have the character work done up front so that I can meet that deadline as well. I am working with him on a new website that will display my skills since almost all of my previous work is proprietory and can not be shown to the public in its current form. |
