Rep Power: 4 | Sorry guys but I thought we should create an image that shows of lost civilisation OR 'dead' civilisation. I chose Babylon in all its might with all its buildings, humans, animals and whatever. I want to show the beutiful part of the city. (Only the Tower of Babel will show early signs of decay - carrying the seeds of its own destruction) Did I get the whole theme of the contest wrong?? |

Rep Power: 4 | Well there will be lots of caracters in the scene - but i'm not sure if they will have lots of detail cosidering the view - there are actually two of them in the last pic but i'm not sure you can distinguish them because of the wide view (they are very, very small) Anyway I'm leaving today on hollyday so I'm not gonna be around for two weeks (not going to have internet) Have fun guys! |

Rep Power: 2 | hey Man Still supporting u....anyway... y do u have to make the images smaller???? Sorry is it beacause not enough power to Render the great work.... any-ways I did a big project over the weekends and i used 3ds max9 to render...it render 2-3x faster...also there is a programe that only render---well alot try some ---but the 1 i am talking about is the one that use's ur video card to render---TT_TT sorry i forgot nameTT_TT |

Rep Power: 4 | Hi - back from my hollyday. I see a lot of new pics - this contest is getting better and better. As for my picture I finally decided on all the ingredients. Being one of the oldest great civilization (about 3000BC) I decided to put in Babylon some hints of later architecture (Roman, Greek etc.). It seems right to me that later civilizations inspired from the Babylon buildings. The final pic will contain four more steps: 1) A "Chatedral like" building - the one I posted - only started work on it yesterday 2) The "poor district" of the city way way in the back far away from the Babel Tower unlike the "rich homes" 3) A personal representation of the "Hanging Gardens" - this should have a lot of water falls and... a garden... hanging someware. 4) And of course the "Tower of Babel" |

I have to admit it's a little different from what I wanted - I think I need a few more days to finish (rendering this pic is very very difficult) - but I guess it's ok.
