Rep Power: 6 | it's a modeling contest so the texture shouldn't count much. the judges must look at the modeling and the modeling time. but if 2 moddels looks really good both then it is the best looking one that winns, and that may be the one with texture.

Rep Power: 0 | Hang on guys....I didn't say that the quality of the competition wasn't good. I'm just saying 4 or 5 entries isn't very much for the judges to choose from. Maybe why there was no concept award this time. Anyway. Thanks for the congrats people and see you in the next one. Omidseraj: your models great, i thought it might have won as well |

Rep Power: 0 | remodel thanks all. I though here the only think will consider is modeling, but texturing is important. I had a time for texturing this model.but I did not, any way. take it easy. Rep Power: 7 | So many questions! You should know that making distinct texturing competition is not quite interesting as no texturing could be applyed without a model. So our speed modeling rules assume that artists create textured models if time allow. Also judges take into a view rendering as only fine rendering is able to represent well made materials and textures. But sometimes it happens that a model without any textures looks better ones textured. This is just a matter of case. Omidseray. Your textured model looks very good! Hope you'll win in next competitions. |
