Rep Power: 5 ![]() | "This is my 1st entry ever on this website,i hope i do it right. Modelling: 4 hours Software: 3Dstudio Max 2010 Texturing: 50 min Rendering: 10 min" Thats wrong, he wasn't within the time limit. It was 2 hours and he took 4. Sory for being pedantic but the rules are the rules? amirite?

as i said this is my 1st entry,i didnt even notice the 2 hours limit.but from what i can tell the other entries have broken the rules in one way or another.if i were to write 2 hours it couldn't be verified, that goes for the other entries as well.just saying | |

If you did read the first post at the thread you must have noticed that all information is there. Including time limit.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | "-Your model must include a clear and easy to see wire frame of the mesh before any smoothing or subdivision has been applied. Please use a screen grab. No other method is acceptable and any "wire renders" or wireframes we can't see properly will be removed and the poster disqualified. " if you really want to follow the rules word by word it's fine by me,but 3 other submissions including drawknezz's winning submission would be disqualified for submittind either screens with smoothing or subdivisions on them,or the screen grab.i feel i'm being targeted here, and it's not exactly friendly |

well probably the judge might have missed his given time? or maybe he found this as the best(not taunting others....gr8 entries all!!)... anyways, i guess we shud leave this be right nw, but ask the judges to be a li'l stricter from the next time. Cheers!!!

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | I wasn't having a go at anyone and i know most people dont submit the right kind of wire images but the time limit is kind of the one major rule i would say. The whole point of the competition is to model something in a time limit. Hence it is called speed modeling. Didn't want to upset anyone. ![]()

| Registered User | I agree with fireboymatt ... it is ok to post bad wireframe but the point of this challenge is to model somtheing in time that is written ... that is a great model but it took him 4 hours to complete... it is just unfair to us who are trying to do model in time
