We launched Speed Painting / Sketch Traning. Welcome everyone how interesting this challenge.

Some rules:
Post ONLY finished sketchs in this thread.
2 hours time limit
Maximal resolution: 800x600 pxels.
Specify time of creation your sketch and software used.
You can add multiple entries, but no WIP

you have to make something of a space hole kinds which connects two different places..... or time spans....

I decided to do a portal (entrance) to a viking hall. I did it in Painter 11 and adjusted the colour slightly in Photoshop (approx time 50 mins).

By the way a portal can be many things, not just "a space hole which connects two different places".

Dictionary explanation: Portal (noun) a door, gate, or entrance, esp. one of imposing appearance.

i think you missunderstod a littel. this is speed painting, not speed modeling :)

its a tecnique to first ruffly model the consept in 3d. then render a sketch and take it inn to photoshop and paint over it. takes some time tho :P
