Hi!...
At first, maybe you can show us your render settings and texture. Because, It's hard to found the problem just see the render image.
Based on your image, maybe there is two reasons.
One, because your render setting is on Quickshade mode.
Two, it is your avi setting (Cinepak, Intel Indeo, Divx, etc).
To prove this, you just can try to render still image (F9), if the result ok, meaning the problem is on your avi.

Hope it is help.

Yes please show us what settings you are using for your render.
I'm guessing it's your codec. It also could be radiosity settings if you are using radiosity.

I forgot i had posted this and have just stumbled on the post. I did figure it out, it was the codec I had it set to RLE But im now not compressing it. I have also noticed if i dont delete my CFG file once a week My system will inexplicably crash or have errors. Most annoying im moving over to blender as i love the UV texturing. anyways thank you for your responses.

That's odd dude!... I never delete or configure my CFG, and it's all just fine. But i have backup my CFG settings.
Anyway, i use blender too!
Yes i agree, me too i love the UV wrapping tool, it's cool!:)
I use it for uv texturing, sculpt then painting... after that bring back to lw for animating, light and rendering (but some work, i'm working full in lw or blender).
