Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Say What ,,, To answer you question on waht sofware to use for 3d as a beginer. It would be good to know what you want to do with it. Make a liwing with it or just inmpress your friends. Do architectureal pri vis, broadcast graphics, film FX, cartoon animation, maybe print, or just wast some spare time. On the hi end site there are probabli four world class 3d packages awailable to the simle people out there, 3D max, Maya, XSI and Lightwave. All four are very similar as they all have modeling and animations tools. There are some packeges obove those four that are beyound the exces and availability all the custom stuff that ILM and Pixar uses, stuff that runs on expensive hardware set ups. And there is a whole bunch of lower end sofware packeges that are mostly easy to use and simple to handle, pacages like Cinema 4d, poser, eovia carrara and so on. /// |
