Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Sun light Hi i am making a scene for the first time, and now im stuck. the rendering takes hours and i just wondered what light i must use to gett a realistick sun light on my scene. here is a image. what do you think so far? | Registered User | Thats looking very good, but maybe too dark of a sky for the effect you want? The scene reflects that also. I personally use a Skylight with Light Tracer enabled, and for a scene like that, you may want to up the Skylight multiplier a slight bit. For faster renders, I would put Bounces to 1, and change the Rays/Sample to about 25/50. For bigger scenes you won't notice the dotting you can get on some scenes. Its alot faster than the default 250 as well. Thats the only light I would use anyway. I've tried using the Sun light, etc, in Photometric lights, but it doesn't give the desired effect what so ever to me.
