Question illuminating parking lights on models

hey all, i'm a truck driver and have been dabbling in 3d modeling for a year or so and have modeled several big rigs. my ? is how can u make the parking lights on the model light up. I dont have a clue as to how to do this.can some1 help,tks.by the way i am using 3dstudio

i gott no clue inn lights, but first of all you need to tell us what kind of render are you going to do...is it night or day scene, out or inn and all that stuff :P maybe some other people then know how to help you.
