After effects vs combustion

After effects vs combustion

My Dears, my work consists of carrying through images of commercial spaces, store…, and the software that i work is the viz (3d studio max), a little of photoshop and illustrated, and recently I discovered combustion and after effects. My doubts about this software is: what the following one using ? in the images quickly to make rightnesss, modifications, only for fixed images what I carry through without thinking about using for video or another one. Somebody makes idea of which of them the two will be made right to use?
Thanks

Mmmm

I use Combusition and After Effects. I find After effects to be fast and there are a lot of plugins to use. However i find the iterface to be a bit fiddly and a bit like a kids toy but with a big punch. Combustion is slower but it is one of the best for colour correctors and compositors out there. The interface feels solid and profesional. Depending on the effect i want, this will dictate what software i use. But first i go to Combution. Theres my 2 cents.

Friends, It is unfair to compare Combustion with After Effects. Because,

1. Combustion is a layer based composition software and After Effects is a layer based composition software.

2. After Effects is used mainly in motion graphics\ TV platform and Combustion is used mainly for vfx\movies.

3. Both the software are from two different companies.

I have learned and used both the software. For my experience they both are good at at their work. So, no one is good or no one is bad.
