Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Its just Industry choice. They both fall under the Autodesk banner now a-days. 3DSMAX tends to be used by the games industry whilst Maya for Films/TV. I wish they would just merge the features and make 1 do it all application. If you really want to get detail in your model check out Mudbox. You can import 3DSMAX models and 'sculpt' in the detail. Al.
