Wild Pockets 3D Modeling Competition!

Wild Pockets is celebrating the launch of our new gallery publishing system and Blender exporter (you can now export Blender, 3DS Max, and Maya) by holding a 3D Modeling competition from Monday, April 12th, through Sunday, May 2nd. You can go to - Contests | Wild Pockets - to check out all the details, but very basically, we're asking artists to model buildings according to a specific theme. We'll be judging on creativity, quality of art, performance running in the Wild Pockets engine, and of course the model's relevance to the given theme.

Here's the interesting part. What do you get if you win? Only first place gets a prize, but first place gets to choose between: an XBox 360, a Sony Playstation 3, and a $350 gift certificate to newegg.com.

We think it should be a lot of fun and are hoping you guys do too!

Edit: The theme has been announced! We'll be asking you guys to model buildings under the theme of "steampunk in space!"
