Rep Power: 0 ![]() | world/landscape competition All I can say is I'm still new and don't have much motivation as to what sort of new project I should start. I must say I have been looking forward to a long term competition (more then a week to work on) such as, "Lost World" and "Ghost City", both being released around the end of the year which i took part in and loved the experience with the 3dm3 community in suggestions/competition/judging. I would absolutely love to have a new competition started that relates to the previous two mentioned above. Suggestions: Space dock (futuristic looking pirate or trading dock) Revolution\fallout scene (inspired by the televised series 'Jericho') Or some sort of colony scene (this opens a huge range of scenes from destroyed scavenger colony, or colony in modern environment but has to resort to primitive technology eg, no electricity and stuff) Basically anything that would involve a large scene that expands a large range of different results Even if its not official and has little or no rewards ![]() |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | How about Space as a Mattepainting challenge? OR better yet, a SteamPunk theme. 3D and 2D and combo's welcome. Make it a big challenge with a Ray Gun from Doctor Grordbort as a prize :D That will certainly get my attention!

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | PodRacer I think it would be cool to design your own spin off of a Pod Racer from star wars. a 3D Futuristic yet trashy or classy design depending on your own vision, and say have a week to put it down, depending on detail and texturing. Just a thought and something I'd like to see get thrown around. |
