Character challenge

Well, it's been a long time since I last posted something around here.
Looking at the forum, it seems that big challenges didn't take place on last months so I thought about suggesting something that is rather simple but quite challenging.
I first thought of suggesting a car modeling challenge on which we had a stock model of a car and from that same model we had create a custom kit. That would be a piece of cake and also a little boring because what we see the most are CG cars.
Now, why don't we have an organic competition? We could either model our own concept character or simply model an existing character like superheroes, which we have tones of options to choose from. Characters are quite simple but very challenging. I think this will help lots of artists to show their skills on character modeling.
I myself suck at character modeling so I would surely participate on this one because that would help me improve.
