Streetrace competition

DESCRIPTION:
In this competition your mission is to model one or more cars from the list.
Best 16 cars will be included in 3D Streetrace game from Croatian team called Generation Stars ( www.generationstars.com ).
Generation Stars members will choose best 16 cars from the contest (4 cars from each class) and authors will recive awards mentioned below.

RULES:
- Car model with less then 18000 polygons
- Model a streetrace car tuned (spoilers and fancy suff)
- Don't model car logo's
- Inerior is not necessary
- Give your car a name
- Place materials on cars
- Make your thread in our forum and post here your WIP's. Example of title -- 'Streetrace: BMW'

GENERAL RULES:

-Competition is open to everyone, worldwide
-Model must be created by a single artist, no team work submissions can be made. Multiple submissions are permitted either.
-Model must be original artwork and ownership of the contestant. Plagiarism will NOT be tolerated, and anyone found stealing WILL be made an example of in public.
-At the discretion organizers of competition will pass selection of works. If work has not passed, then the author can present new work.
-Giving model, the author agrees to give organizers of competition the sanction publicly to show images of model on the sites and an opportunity to use it for promotion of the site and competitions.
-By submitting to competition you are giving us the right to use your models in our games, in return authors will receive a free copy of the final product and acknowledgment for their work.
-Organizers have the right to prolong terms of carrying out of competition.
-Any of these rules may change at any time without prior notice. Do visit this page often!

REQUIREMENTS TO COMPETITIVE MODELS:

-To participation in competition author's models in formats 3DS, MAX, LWO, created in any packages 3D modelling or a combination of several appendices are accepted.
-The Model should "be completely finished and ready" to the use.
-The Author should make model independently and to possess the property rights to sent competitive model.

Competition starts: 09 October, 2005
Competition ends: 20 November, 2005
Announcement of a winners: 22 November, 2005

Interesting competition. Can you show me or us some example car?? It will be best show the rules because mayby not everybody understand how car must look like (inside, exterior, bonusitem or other). Can you do that for me??

No, you don't need to model interior and engine, just car for streetrace, did you watch fast and furious serial? :) Or something like Need for speed underground!

Well, in that case I'll get back to the old times. Just modeling the exterior, then :D and,... Highpoly is out to be mentioned right!?

Remember, less than 18000 polygons (but it's not problem if you make 500 more :alc: ) no interior, no engine, put some materials :thumbsup:

is there a special models .... or could i model an old modles .......i.e model of cars is 2006 -2005 or couls i model 95 for eg. ,,, also what is model option exactlly ...fo honca civic for eg. is it crx , normal civic sir , vti .......,,,,,,what exactly

Your choice, as long as it's tuned :) but it's better if they are new
