| Pimp my model | Streetrace: Fiat 126p Now this is a really late entry.. =) It's still ok, right? I still believe I can finish in time, all of this was done yesterday. I chose this baby 'coz it's gonna be easier to finish in such a short time and I like to see these smaller cars 'pimped'. Ok, so I'm working with max, and here are some pictures. It obviuosly looks a bit crappy so far, it's gonna need more polies in some places, some smoothing, sharpening etc. Do you think I overdone it in some places? I'm not sure.. Oh, and the weels are there for reference only, I'll have to redo them, they're too heavy on polies. I never did low poly stuff before.. Not sure about final colours and name, but I am planning something as a surprise. I hope it works.. Inace, jel trebate jos kojeg 3d artista, decki? ;) ![]()

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Is it too late to enter? I only came across this website last week and only saw this competition then, I've made a start on the Fiat, (I thought I'd do a car that was relatively simple to do) Here it is so far, it's done in Maya and about 4000 polys if it's just the model that's required then I should get it done in time. Tell me what you think, no renders yet just WIP screen shots, anyone know Maya and if you can export 3DS files? If not then the whole thing could be a waste of time. |

| Pimp my model | I think you're supposed to start a new thread. Looks nice so far, though. Oh yeah! I just knew it would look killah with these graphics. I might try another color if you think it's too dark like this.. This low poly thing is killing me, though. It's hard to make it more smooth with so little polygons. Any advice guys? It's around 10000 now. Thanks ![]()

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hi Fingers! If You can't export *.3ds, export *.obj or *.iges whatever MAX imports correctly. Or use some 3rd party app. to convert it... I'm going to do sometheing similar (I'm working in XSI). |

| Pimp my model | haha maksy.. I'm not such a hardcore fan, though..=) Ok, so I've added the rear view mirror and doorhandle and some more polies all around and I've tried some different colours.. so, do you like any of these better? ![]()

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Maybe you should add more black to the front of the car... or maybe make holes in the front bumper or something... because it is kind of monotone in the front. Everything else about this model is great! :) |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | The car is a KiLLeR!! I was expecting to much of this car cause this was the first car I ever drove, and I thought nobody would take it. Usually I don't like that buldog, but it suites the car great, gives him a soul. Totaly metaforic...crappy on the outside, beast on the inside. Crappy compared to ferrari (the power of the car, not the cuality of authors modeling). I hope you understood me. This car is going to take a lot of breaths to Croatian players, I guarantee for that. BTW thanks for joing the competition, it's always great to see a local guy competing! If you're interested in working with us come on our forum www.generationstars.com/forum and will see what we can work out. I can't promise anything, but you'll have better chances if we get to know you a little bit better. |

| Pimp my model | Thanks, and yeah, I understand what you mean. Sure, I'll check out the forum, but I wasn't that serious about what I've said, unless you'd really need someone to help you out. =) Anyway, I'm posting what I think is the final model, I'm not too happy about the rear end and some other parts, though. And I changed the front part, I didn't really like what was going on there.. And I was thinking of going with the red one and calling it something like Red Bulldog.. Lame, right? =) ![]()

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Without the LOL...bad blue Bulldog would be a good name, right guys? BTW this is the first Fiat 126 p (peglica) that I see tuned. This and the other made in Maya...and I can tell you it looks amazing. I mean who would have guessed that peglica could look so good??? But still the question of chicks falling for this car is unreasonable hahahahhahahah |

| Pimp my model | Oh, are you kidding? Chicks dig "cute" cars.. jk ;) Yeah, that would keep it within the three Bs.. and I've tried blue already, but didn't really like how it turned out, maybe I'll try a different shade of blue and post later for you to see.
