Rep Power: 4 ![]() | In this place I will post important news. End of competition is on Sunday, 2005-11-20 About submiting: When we select winners you will get more instructions how to submit but here is some tips: Export your model in .3ds and zip it with textures. Also, you will have to include one word document with your address (home and e-mail) so we can send you game, and contact you on your e-mail. One more time special thanks to Stryker and CGfolks team |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | so is it possible for us to submit a .max file?, since my program(cinema 4d) doesn't export to .3ds too well, I could give you guys a .wrl file with one texture, as the only texture is the rotor image, everything else is colors., which imports in most 3d apps, (eg: 3DS Max 4,5,6, Alias Maya, Lightwave, heck even cad uses it too I think.) Which application will you guys be using to check the models in? |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | I would like to thank....well just look at the image. ![]() tipo's rims are missing because i dont have them on my girlfriends computer, I have learned much from this experience, I have made 3 cars in a weeks period, one sucky one but ok looking given the fact that it was done in 5 hours(fiat tipo) during the morning of november 14th, thinking that the next day was the end of the comp. Then when i found out it was extended on the 17th, I set out again to make another car, this time it was the murcielago, I thought it was going to take me about a day and a half, but when i started(since the rush experience from the tipo), it wasnt all that hard and i finished the whole car in about 9 hours and 40 minutes, and then yesterday I was thinking, since no one has made a supra yet, I thought i would give it a go, but with only 8 hours left, I was staggering with the choice of doing it or not, but after a few minutes, I decided to go for it. about 5 hours and 35 minutes later, I was done with the basic shape, which is submitted as the first image, then I honly had about 2 hours left to work on it, so an hour passed, and I hadn't had any real luck doing anything to it until it hit me, I have to hurry the hell up, so I just extruded some stuff out and added the usual canards and vents and that was it for me, well if I had more time I wouldn't have had to just use the old spoiler from the murcie, but oh well, atleast its done, atleast to the best of my ability that is....thankyou everyone who competed. |
