Thumbs up SPEED MODELLING COMPETITION NO.19 (Miniature Ship)

Hi everyone and Welcome to 3dm3 Speed Modelling Competition

New Speed Modelling Challenge is here!

Subject: Miniature Ship

Description: How many of you want to be sailors? Model any type of Miniature Ship, it could be anything from a small yatch to Titanic itself, but in the time limit. Use your head!
Modeling Time: 4 hours
Start: Saturday, 23rd September at 12:00 am GMT
End: Sunday, 1st October at 12:00 am GMT

Here are some quick rules if you guys feeling lazy to read and ready to model :thumbsup:

- Competition is open to everyone and anyone, worldwide
- Model must be created by a single artist
- Multiple submissions are permitted either
- Your submission should be a model created especially for this challenge and
not one you have previously created for own purpose.
- Entries using models which are not original will be removed and the
Poster will be disqualified for the current competition
- Describe how you created your model, references used, Methods or
Techniques, This is not necessary but might make your
chances better to win and for others to learn, after all, we do it for learning
and Fun!

- Cast your Vote on the Poll system, Thank You

CHANGES IN RULES

Main Technical terms:

- You can use any 3d Package
- Attach Only 2 images (Rendered and Wireframe)
- For Wireframe, ONLY use Screengrab Process (PrintScreen), No other
methods of Wire Rendering allowed!
- Do not forget to post your Modelling time
- Texturing is allowed but not necessary
- You can also post WIP Images but do not Overload the Forum!

Diving yacht

Helo

It is a littel boat used for diving for example.

Time i used to make this model is : 3h 56m

It is simple mesh model with meshsmoot interpolation :2
Render is make with Light tracer
Spacing tool is used to make banister. Materials are standard or raytracet.
if u have som question go on and ask.

my second post was never intended to be a tutorial, or a complete guide on how to make a boat, i just trying to follow this step:

Describe how you created your model, references used, Methods or

anyway, its curious to see how the model defines the tutorial perception, i ve seen great great works, with very incomplete works. Also maybe was my mistake to post this image, knowing that theres around so many highly skilled modellers.

Any way, quoting real3d, we do it for learngin and fun!
