New here on 3DM3. Thought I would join in on the speed modeling fun now that I have free time. One question though ... it says BEGINNER speed modeling ... what is a beginner in the eyes of 3DM3? I have been modeling for a while but would still like to participate. :D

The most recent challenge has ended, there are no current challenges, keep your eye on Beginner Speed Modeling - Community for CG Artists and wait for the next one to start.

Sorry, I'm new man in this site. How you estimate (write word?) the model? By modeling or finish concept: texturs, materials, render, etc?

the competitions start usually on Monday when a new one is posted and ends Sunday at midnight. and to enter you just post your entry in the forum and u post a wireframe view, and a clay render, and/or a textured model also make sure you put how long it took you to model, texture, and render. all this should be in the rules for the speed modeling comp. General speed modelling rules: please read

and superwow, do you mean how do they judge the beginners speed modeling comp.? if so i think they judge it by the modeling. that's y they want you to submit a wireframe view, and its a modeling competition
