Let's go Subject: watch Description: any watch Modeling Time: 2 hours Rules: It doesn't have to be your watch, it can be a wrist watch, a pocket watch etc... Start: Monday 20 February at 12:00 am GMT End: Sunday 26 February at 12:00 am GMT PLEASE READ GENERAL RULES Main terms: -Only attach your works -Only 2 images (render and weirframe) -Do not forget to post your Modeling time Look previous challenge Post your entrys in this thread! Rep Power: 0 | my design Here is my design. The modeling is very simple, but I hope my design was interesting. The idea is a rotating light which casts shadow pointing on a curent hour. Sorta sun-dial without the sun :) Better do be hanged in the dark corner :) modelling: 17 min light and shaders setup: 20 min rendering: 4 min Last edited by Tigrenka; 02-21-2006 at 10:44 AM.. |

Rep Power: 5   | hi there :) finally i'm here with free time :buttrockx i had bachelor degree exam, so i couldn't participate on last challenge :deal: now i see, that wtch chalenge is here :) but i got something to tell.... why everybody do materials, when this is speed MODELING ch???? i thing this chall. should be focused on modeling skills, not global skills :shame: what do you thing about that??? (and can i post my watch from other speed mod ch? or should i do complete new? :) )

Its called - The FuturaWatch The concept - When you press the 'P' button (means Power) the watch recognizes its registered user and reveals a 3d holographic GUI! That way it will be useless for anyone who STEALS it! :super: It show your location, temperature, climatic conditions, Latest News, Cricket Updates, your Mails in Inbox on the Net, and it shows TIME too! :) The model is not so good but I think the concept will work! So I spent a little more time on the Environment! Modelling: 25 min Scene Setup: 10 min Texturing: 20 min Rendering: 15 min Total: 70 mins ( not bad, huh? :bounce4: ) Why didnt I see more entries here than the Prev. Challenge? :confused: Still |
