Ok here is my entry. I had a lot of fun doing this I think it was a really nice thing to model. I also got to use zbrush for my first time.
The wireframe looks a bit confusing but I don't have a low poly model of the mask since I had to export it to zbrush and then back to 3ds Max.
Well here it is, I hope you guys like it.

Modeling Time: 90 min
Texturing Time: 25min
Rendering Time: 40 sec
Software used: 3ds Max 2009, Vray, zBrush

it's very similar topic but a lot of time passed since previous challenge and diving and gas mask aren't the same things, yes?

My entry.

Here is my entry.

I have never entered a 3dm3 contest before, but I have enjoyed watching them shape out. Then this morning I saw that the contest of the week was a gas mask and I just had to model it, so I modeled, registered, and here I am.

I had a lot of fun and was rather pleased with the result. It was my first serious attempt at subsurf modeling.

Modeling time - 2 hrs (almost exactly)
Shading time - 5-10 min
Rendering time - 5 sec
Software - Blender 2.47

Nice Woolybear, I can see you "achieved" the basic form of the mask, I think that was the harderst part for me.
