New Speed Modelling Challenge!

Subject: Satellite Antenna

Description: Just a pure satellite antenna, any concepts etc are welcome!

Modeling Time: 2 hours
Start: Monday, 30nd June at 12:00 am GMT
End: Sunday, 6th July at 12:00 pm GMT

This is my first competition... and am a newbie.... Its a Dish (Pan) antenna....lol

Software : 3ds Max 8
Modeling Time : 2:05 hours
Rendering time : 6.40 mins

Hi, my Antenna... errr abandoned Satellite Antenna... or one post war Antenna... or something like this

Only polys, without smooth or subdiv.

Software : 3ds Max 2009
Modeling Time : 1:49:20 hours
Rendering time : 48 mins

(my pc sucks)

hi.... all... thnx for the comments... @raider it wasnt a photoshop work.. actually i rendered the scene without a background plane.. thats why...

Sounded easy enough so thought I'd have a go at one of these competitions. Here is my attempt.

Modeling time: 90 min
Texturing time: 5 min
Rendering time: 1 min
Software: Carrara 6

hey, this is my art fr the satellite antenna....no wires attachd in, jus kept fr the display at the shop...hehe

Modelling time: 55mins

(6.15pm - 7.10pm)
Texture time: 15mins (7.10pm - 7.25pm)
lighting time: 5mins (7.25pm-7.30pm)
Render time: 39secs

btw, awesome models, all ye ppl above....m sure ma amateur art is difficult to win
