SPEED MODELING CHALLENGE No. 66 (Chariot)

Welcome to 3dm3 Speed Modelling Competition

New Speed Modelling Challenge!

Subject: Chariot

Description: Need to model only the ñhariot body! All concepts from Ancient ones to some kind of futuristic chariots are welcome.
(I hope all you get good wheels modeling practice in last challenge with water mills )



Modeling Time: 2 hours
Start: Monday, 17th March at 12:00 am GMT
End: Sunday, 23th March at 12:00 pm GMT

I personally think without becuase you only whanted to have the body but i ian't sure.

Texturing isn't necessary at speedmodeling challenges at all, only if member have time he can make texturing for fun. Judging based on wireframes and solid models quality.

+ dont u think its time to model some costome cars again.

my chariot

Hey guys did this in maya in less than 2 hours it is pretty basic i guess and then rendered in mental ray with final gather.....

happy modelling....

Chariot

All pins and braces are modeled inside the wheels to make the model more life like, these details are minute and hardly noticeable, However it makes me feel better about myself to try and make my models more real.

Here is my attempt at the chariot:

Time Split-Up:

Modeling: 1.5hrs
Texture: 15 Mins
Render: 3 Mins

This was a fun modeling experience, Good Luck fellas!

this is my beta i will improve some more, but keep the sped to maximum

TIP: 2 hours a bit long work on that, by using less polygons on the beginning you will have to spend less time correcting bugs and stuff like that.
