Hey everyone, I just wanted to say that I am excited to find a site that lets begginers have a shot at competitions and I think it's awsome.

I have a question though. How exactly do I set up the scene to do clay render and wireframe renders?

I have a lawn mower and I just need to know how to set it up to submit.

Highman that's not a clay render. I don't know if it counts or not, but it would look much much nicer as a clay render.

If you don't know how, I explained it under the changes in speed modeling rules thread.

Not trying to be an ass, I just wanna make sure there's fair ground for everyone. (including yourself)

really nice model ronel :)

buddy what render settings do you use for the clay render? i really like the light settings and render setings on your render, gives a soft easy look. good work :)

thanks...... its just a normal render setup in scanline. no lights at all, i just activate radiosity and automatic exposure then hit render. but normally i use spotlight with acitvated attenuation so it will give as soft light edges

So I know I'm late but here is what I worked on anyway.

Time: 1hour 20 min.
Software: 3ds max 9
Render time: 1 min.
