Subject: Pistol Description: Now is the time to make a real gun. Imagine you're doing an illustration for a detective book. It should be a modern pistol (not a revolver) but it can be an old used one, new glittering one or maybe expensive encrustated pistol of a mafia leader. Trust in your imagination! Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Commando Pistol First time I've posted here. Man! Four hours really goes by fast! Anyway, here are two views of my gun and a wire frame. All done in Cinema 4D. Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Old Colt Thought I'd try another gun as the first was so much fun. Here is a view of the model, a wire frame and a textured view. Modelling time - 4 hours. Rep Power: 4 ![]() | made something quickly just to participate... ![]() Sorry I fogot here is details. As you can see model is not so detailed, I modeled (3dsmax 8) it in 30 minutes and just atached (high quality) texture... That's all... I spent around 10 minutes on texturing... Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Space Glock Okay, I'll stop now. Just had to dash this one off because the reference image was so cool. Probably an hour modeling. 1 minute texturing. 30 seconds rendering. Some kind of x-ray view of a Glock. I applied it as a texture. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | damn Maksy give us a chanse:P haha did you use normal maps becaus the wire shows that the model is damn simple but the textured picture shows all the details like it was modeled :P and roadi your really quick :P good job. but can you post the modeling time and such in a liste like this eksemple: Modeling: 1 houre texturing: 30min rendering: 2min 3ds max 8 Just easyer for us to see^^ cheers good work all.
