Rep Power: 0 ![]() | ok, so i'm in here to ask for a little help... I designed and modeled in a solid modeler, primarily because the patterns were easier to make... but when I import in, I can't smooth the model enough to take away the facets when rendered  Here is a screen grab from 3ds... ![]() Here is the screen grab from Inventor (the solid modeler) ![]()   Would a solid render count :p Edit: I need to mention that the reason the import is acting goofy is because of the fillets around the horns :( Edit again... I had a brain fart and didn't even try the direct inventor import... i used it and the mesh issue is gone :yaya: Last edited by Audacity Racing; 06-30-2006 at 10:08 PM.. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | thanx alot ghost I really got into this challenge. :p BTW like your modelling, very solid, but the material of the render is a bit dull. might want to shine it up a bit. Maksy: you bit me to the model that was going to be my second one, nice job. |
