Welcome to 3dm3 Speed Modelling Competition

New Speed Modelling Challenge!

Subject: Concrete Mixer

Description: Any kind of moving or stationary concrete mixers are welcome



Modeling Time: 2 hours
Start: Monday, 5th October at 12:00 pm GMT
End: Sunday, 11th October at 12:00 am GMT

Took me too long to do modeling, didnt have enough time to get anything but occlusion pass.

Modeling time :1 hour 55 minutes
Texturing time: 0
Rendering time: 5 minutes

Killer Bee- Just throw an HDRI on that guy and maybe a point light for shadows. Your getting all sorts of light refraction from your box.

Well done on your model. seems fairly low poly

Don't worry about this.
If I remember, the main thing here is the model - not final render (or must to be)

of course, the final render from drharney's "cannon" model is impressive.

it's just begun and already we have good works here.

Thanks! I work for a broadcast company that wants everything shiny shiny shiny.. so I guess Im just used that that render method

hey Harney, awesome work pal!!! well though its nt a challenge fr texturing, but i ws wondering, if ye cud just reduce the reflectivity ov the material a little bit, it'll look much better, gives a glass look rite nw....jus dat
