Where is the 'Duplicate edges' tool in Maya 2008?

Hi, I'm using an old tutorial that keeps referring to the duplicate edges tool in Maya. Its not in Maya 2008 is it? I've looked everywhere in the 'Edit Mesh', and 'Mesh' menus. Its driving me nuts! What did they replace this tool with in the 2008 version? Any help would be great. Thanks

No, I don't think it does exactly the same thing. In this tutorial from the book 'Mastering Maya 7' it clearly shows that you can select 4 edges in a straight line (not a ring selection) and then click on 'duplicate edges' and it will double those 4 edges and create new edges connecting back to the start and end points. Check out page 133 and the images on page 134

Arrow DAOC - Game Profile

Character ClassesCharacter Classes Players of Dark Age of Camelot are greeted with not only 15 races to choose from, but also 44 character classes providing players with numerous gameplay styles. Each realm has a set of classes available to it, which provide a certain strength to the realm as a whole. Classss of Albio Armsman The footsoldier of Albion, the Armsman is the main fighter of the Realm. He can use almost any weapon and armor, as well as the ability to wield crossbows and polearms. Cabalist Spellcasters who specialize in the study and manipulation of spirit magic, Cabalists gain the ability to summon a pet to do their bidding, as well as blind and disease their enemies. Cleric The primary healing class of the Realm, the Cleric can prepare their friends for battle as well as aid them during and after the conflict. More Animist Animists are a Hibernian primary spellcasting class that has an affinity with plants. They are able to animate plant life and other natural phenomena (phosphorescence, etc.) and use it to craft spells that damage their opponents. This class is only available to Shrouded Isles users. Bard Straight from the pages of Celtic Lore, the Bard is a combination Druid, fighter, and songmaster. He is adept at exhorting his friends in battle. Blademaster The light fighter of Hibernia. Specializes in combat styles that require him to focus on his position in combat, as well as the ability to use two weapons at once. More Berserker Patrons of Modi, the Norse god of battle-rage, Berserkers are light fighters who eschew heavy armor and rely on wielding two weapons at once, as well as positional combat styles. Bonedancer The Bonedancer is a Midgard pet caster who follows the Valkyn ancient pre-Norse god Bogdar. The heart of this new class is that they are a pet caster who can summon more than one pet at a time, at higher levels. However, they control only one pet directly, the commander - all the other minions are controlled by the commander. This class is only available to Shrouded Isles users. Healer Followers of Eir, the Norse goddess of healing, Healers aid their comrades in battle with a variety of healing and buffing magic as well as powerful crowd-control spells. More Playable RacesDark Age of Camelot provides players with a total of 15 playable character races, five per realm, which give an immersive gameplay experience to the realms the players choose to play in. From the frigid mountains of Midgard to the rolling hills of Hibernia, players will find many customizable options with their race options.Realms at WarThe world of Dark Age of Camelot is comprised of three Realms at war - Hibernia, Midgard, and Albion. The struggle between the Realms resulted from the power vacuum created by King Arthur's death. Each Realm is geographically diverse from one another and follow a specific mythological tradition. Albion is the land of King Arthur's heirs. Hibernia is based on Irish Celtic legends, with a dash of high fantasy. Midgard follows the Viking Norse sagas and legends. AlbionFrom the rolling hills of Camelot to the mountainous peaks of Snowdonia, Albion is through and through the land of Arthur. Forged from his iron will, paid for by the blood of Knights and commoner alike, Albion encompasses the ideals, the laws, and the heritage of its most famous King. The people of Albion are a mostly homogenous lot - sturdy Britons, hulking Highlanders, graceful swift Saracens, the tall intelligent Avalonians, and the small mysterious Inconnu make up the different races in the Realm.Geography of AlbionThe center of culture and government in Albion is the city of Camelot, the former seat of the throne of Arthur. From there stretch the forests and plains of the Realm: to the west of Camelot lie huge plains, deep dark forests, trackless swamps, and haunted hills. To the north loom the mountains of Snowdonia, and frontier lands, dangerous and unpredictable. The geography of Albion is varied and rolling, and is home to many dangerous creatures. Especially of note are the disturbing stories of the legions of undead Roman soldiers, long in their graves, now risen to walk the land once more. More mundane creatures lie in wait for the unwary traveler of the Realm, grown ever more bold in the years since Arthur's demise.Join Albion in their Quest for Supremacy! For those who choose to join the fight to reclaim Arthur's glory, Albion has much to offer the intrepid adventurer. Albion specializes in a diverse mix of player classes; from doughty weapon-users to magicians of many types, to Clerics to longbow-proficient Scouts - these and more rally in defense of the Realm. HiberniaHibernia, closest to nature and magic of all the Realms, brings a potent ability to channel for forces of magic and unleash its destructive force on their enemies. Human Celts and the almost-giant Firbolg live in close harmony with forest, glen, and all nature's creations. The Otherworldly beautiful Elves, small mischievous Lurikeen, and sleek magical Sylvan harness the power of primal magic.Hibernian GeographyFrom the capitol city of Tir na Nog, located in the heart of the Realm, the lands of Hibernia stretch away to the north and south. Hibernia is made of rolling hills, lakes, and rivers. Far away from the civilized sections of the Realm lie deep forest, more steeply mountainous hills, and deadly creatures. Of special note are the dangerous bands of siabra, magical creatures related to the Elves, who hold sway over large tracts of Hibernia - a menace that needs to be dealt with. The Magical ChoiceBased on Celtic legends and otherworldly Elvish high fantasy, Hibernia will appeal to every nature and magic aficionados. Druids, Rangers, Eldritches - this Realm has them all! MidgardFrom the snowy lands of glacier and fjord come the legions of the Norse, heeding the call to once and for all establish the rule of Midgard upon all the Realms. Midgard, land of lakes and wide slow rivers full of snow-melt, is home to four of the most diverse races found in the three Realms. Norsemen, humans who make themselves at home in these snowy wastes, short but resilient and tenacious Dwarves, huge lumbering trolls, and lithe dexterous Kobolds. The Geography of MidgardMidgard is made of low swampy marshlands, deep evergreen forests, flat areas dotted by glacial lakes, soaring snow-capped mountains, and snowy wastes. Centered around the capitol city of Jordheim, the various races and creatures of Midgard have a diverse geography in which to adventure and explore.A Direct Link to the GodsJoin the forces of the Norse as they answer the call from their diverse pantheon of gods and goddesses -- each player class in Midgard is directly attuned with a Norse deity, who grants special abilities and advantages to their minions. Realm VS Realm With Arthur's death, peace between the three realms was shattered and a massive fight for the relics of each realm began. An ongoing struggle of epic proportions is now a constant in the lives of many citizens of the once shining Camelot.Players are thrust into an immense struggle for their realm's supremacy by fighting in a neverending battle for keeps, ancient relics of power and their futures. The frontiers provide a battleground for the numerous keeps that must be conquered to reign supreme over the other two realms. Each realm has its own frontier, which must be protected by its citizens. Its keeps determine the amount of control one realm has over its own territory or the territory of others. Capturing these keeps can yield a greater ability to take the relic keeps, which guard powerful relics of power and strength. When captured, they bring bonuses to the victorious realm. Realm vs Realm battles are completely voluntary. Players who do not enjoy Player vs Player combat may opt to not participate by simply not traveling to the frontiers of their enemies or their own frontier. Players who thoroughly enjoy a full Player vs Player experience may join the Mordred server for hardcore PvP combat. There is also the option for a full Player vs Environment server by joining Gaheris, where realms cooperate to meet many goals in PvE keywords tag: daoc platinum daoc platinumdaoc platinum daoc platinum daoc platinum

Hey thanks, I knew they must have just renamed it. There's a few things that have been renamed between Maya 7 and 2008.
