Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Selection counter in maya I'm a 3ds max user who has to learn maya and I'm missing a small function which 3ds max has, the posibility to see how many vertex, edge or faces you have select, a very nice feature to know that you only select the ones you have to. Does maya have something similar?

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | its called polycount what you do is: Display -> Heads Up Display -> PolyCount (the 2nd one) toggle it On and Off. You can make a shelf button of it using Ctrl+Shift and LMB click. if u use it too much is nice to have it there. I advise you to customize a shelf using CtrlShiftLMB laying usefull butons there. if you cant see your shelfs HOLD Space bar, click on the right of the menu and choose Shelf. I came from 3dmax 2, im glad to use maya now, guees u'll b too. Last edited by Controller; 09-17-2008 at 10:42 PM. |
