Post Maya Particle Help needed !!

Hi ,
Just wanted to know .... how can we have a twist / spin effect on each particle in Maya . If it is through expressions, then what is that expression I can use ?? Can someone help ??

hi,
try to use the turbulence or vortex fields with the particles... select the particle then, on dynamics menu go to "fields" -> and there you have some... i think you should see all... give more frames (at the bottom) and hit play to see the effect.

Changin directions

You can also try to use keys, and on every differen key change direction of particles ( if you are using Direction instead Omni ). For short scene it can help.
