Atmosphere in Maya

I was wondering how do I create a realistic sky in maya? I noticed that a lot of the architecture images on this site all have awsome looking atmospheres. I also noticed with my own work that I can never get the same look. If anybody can submit a tutorial that would be most appreciated. I am an architecture student and figure I will be using this a lot.
