yeah, triangles do tend to mess up the mesh. but as this is a model that is based on next-gen games specifications...I intend to minimize the polycount as low as I can but still achieve the best results.thats what I do everyday in the studio. and there will be no smoothing modifiers involved ;) for the details that I didnt model out, I'll just paint them in texture and play around with the normal maps and specular values.so for this car, the texture stage is crucial...stay tuned for more updates :D
