| i think i did something a little differntly. Jomama i hope this helps... what i did was i went to the channels tab and clicked the create new layer button at the bottom and then i put some white/black gradients on the new layer. once i had it how i wanted it i dragged the layer to the little dotted circle button at the bottom of the channels tab (i think its called load channel as selection) and then i went back to the layers tab and selected the layer that i wanted to apply the effect too and just hit delete until i got the effect i wanted. it ended up showing the pic on the top layer where the black is still showing on the new channel i made, but it showed the underlying layer where i put the white :p |
