Hello dudes. Some great entries here. Glad I got time to enter this one.

Love this catagory. I knew straight away what I was going to do. but I had 2 models in mind. I had a toss up between this absolute MONSTER!!

Dora, the world largest gun. An amazing piece of engineering. But actually size doesn't always make for a great gun. These things could only fire 3 rounds and hour. and need 100's of men to operate it. But I just love monster machines like this even if they are a weapon of war. So if i'm going to model that I ned to give it time and plenty of detail.

Anyway. This is the other Cannon that I chose to do. I visited this a few years back and its pretty damn big.

Mons Meg in Edinburgh Castle.

This thing had an even worse firing rate than Dora. It could only fire 8-10 times a day due to overheating from the shear amount of gun powder needed to fire it.

I think I nearly nailed the texture of the gun, but I wasn't going to try to hard to create the wood texture. anyway this is a modeling challenge :p

Hope you like it
