I don't know if every one is talking about the same web site, the link that you have now is empty, I mean is a template with nothing on it, the design is clean and simple. and it will work for most website.
Now about the 3D thing, well do you mean 3D graphics or actualy 3D interantions? such. shokwave, Java, VRML, or even the new Adobe acrobat 3D plugin?? . Today with so many tools the only limit to make nice UI is your imagination.
