In the first-phase of the project, the company plans to build two production lines, each with a capacity of 1,500 tons annually. The second-phase and the third-phase of the project will each joint venture (JV) established in June 2008 by GD Power and Inner Mongolia Sanwei Resources Group Co Ltd, will be responsible for the project.
GD Power said that it is considering asking other investors to join the project to lower its investment risk if it can do so and still keep a 60% stake in the JV.
