Step 1. preparation of 3d model for exhibition
It is important to prepare a 3d model properly before exhibiting it on the site.
To do this you need to learn first of all the following requirements:
- 3d model you exhibit should be created by you or you should have the appropriate rights for it,
- 3d models with 3DS, MAX, LWO, MA formats are accepted,
- 3d model should be completely ready for exploitation, i.e. one could place it in 3-dimensional scene without extra corrections,
- 3d model should be comletely textured and/or with already adjusted materials,
- in addition to the 3d model you are to submit up to 4 normal samples and up to 4 wire frame samples.
Attention! After you have submitted 3d model to the site shop you can at any time edit its description and price (read how to make it below), but you cannot make it better or change its file or its texture file. Therefore, please be careful when preparing your 3d model. Remember: it will be distributed under your name and used by your colleagues all over the world!
While preparing 3d model you have to do the following:
- render your 3d model in normal and wire frame samples and choose up to 4 most advantageous, in your opinion, normal views and up to 4 coinciding wire frame views,
- optimize the demonstrational images: set the size of 640x480 pixels only and covert them into JPEG format,
- prepare and optimize all textures for the 3d model
- please, optimize your model as much as you can: minimize the number of poligons in your 3d model but save its appearance. Do appreciate your colleagues time future users of your 3d model,
- delete from the scene with 3d model all the unnecessary things: lamps, cameras, strange objects, odd forms and so on,
- classify all 3d models parts or, if you wish, convert 3d model into editable meshes,
- correct the names of the set materials, textures and scene objects - they are all should be in English,
